Incident Report: JustJuice

Category:communicationDate of Incident:2002.03.08
Company:JustJuiceItem or Service:JustJuice

Background:

Just Juice is a New Zealand company, selling their wares throughout at least New Zealand and Australia. The product of interest here is the single-serving cardboard juice box, very much like those produced by Minute Maid and other U.S. brands.

Scenario:
JustJuice box
YOU KNOW YOU CAN TRUST JUST
JUICE BECAUSE THE NAME SAYS IT
ALL. JUST JUICE IS JUST THAT-
ONLY 100% FRUIT JUICE WITH
NO PRESERVATIVES OR ADDITIVES.

Give somebody a paintbrush and--voila!--he/she becomes a painter. If you believe that please visit my other site buy-this-bridge-for-a-song.com. Similarly, give someone a page layout program and he/she does not become a graphic designer. Consider the well-known Aussie/Kiwi juice product Just Juice. On the left you'll see a thumbnail of the paper carton, which comes in 300ml and 1 liter sizes. If you rotate that carton 90 degrees around the Z-axis, the side panel contains the brief marketing blurb shown on the right. The text is fine, but the layout is questionable.

Scenario problems:

In a Nutshell:

Always 100% juice, none of this "10% juice content" nonsense.
